Camilla Carli

I am a Italian girl with my city, Milano, in the heart. After graduating from high school I graduated from the Mendrisio Academy of Architecture and I think that my training is a reflection of my passions: literature and creativity. As a child I had a passion for jewelry, stones and beads while my love for travel has always led me to search for objects from countries far away in space and time. After graduating, while working as an architect between Switzerland and Italy, I started creating jewelry and selling them in stores in Milan using brass and semi-precious stones. For me, every jewel came a little project from an inspiration that can come, from a book from a photo or a stone, and from the choice of the most different shapes and materials. Studies in architecture have taught me to follow the jewel in all its phases: the idea, the study on how to make it, the drawings and the tests from which all the opposite of everything is born. In 2018 I undertook goldsmith courses at the Scuola Orafa Ambrosiana, as I felt that my creativity would be freer if I could shape the metal without limiting myself to the assembly of materials, so that I approached the world of gold and metals precious and I immediately fell in love with it.
