Mepra

Mepra was founded in 1947 by the Prandelli brothers in the small city of Lumezzane in the hills of Northern Italy. When WWII ended, the family business – which had produced bullets for the Italian army during the war – changed its name to Mepra, which is a combination of the two words "Metallurgica Prandelli" (literally, Prandelli Metallurgical).

The company decided to produce stainless steel cutlery, after which it slowly expanded its catalog to include tableware, cookware, coffee pots, and silver-plated stainless steel products.

Mepra has collaborated with many designers over the years, but the most famous collaboration was with Pininfarina, which gave way to functional and elegant objects for the STILE collection. Style, safety, ergonomics and functionality are what make STILE an example of the highest Italian quality and proof of an innovative approach to design based on people's desires and needs.

Today, Mepra is known and used all over the world thanks to the company's continuous modernization of its processes and products, as well as its huge and ever-growing product catalog.

Mepra's products appear on the most prestigious tables of hotels and restaurants as well as in the homes of hundreds of thousands of people around the world.
